Green-e Energy Cerified RECs
A renewable energy credit (REC) – also sometimes referred to as a renewable energy certified or green tag – is created for each megawatt – hour (1 MWh, or 1000 kilowatt-hours) of renewable electricity generated and delivered to the power grid.

Green-e ® Climate Carbon Offsets is the only consumer protection and certification program for retail carbon offsets providing transparency, accountability and credibility.

What is Green-e?
